Ayurvedic analysis: Amalaki, a plum sized Light green/yellow berries, has a unique balance of sour, sweet, pungent, bitter and astringent tastes, all in one fruit. Amalaki, Bibhitaki and Haritaki berries are said to balance all three doshas (three energies of the body)—kapha, pitta and Vaata.
